Joey Morrissey, DVM

Hello, my name is Dr. Joey Morrissey. I joined the team at Grace Animal Hospital in the spring of 2020. I grew up in nearby Spartanburg, South Carolina and completed my undergraduate biology degree at the University of South Carolina Upstate. After completing USCU, I chose to head down to Athens, Georgia to attend the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Dawgs!).

After graduating from UGA in the Spring of 2019, I called the mountains of Asheville home for the next year, practicing small animal medicine. I have one very spoiled dog named Ace, who loves to adventure with me. In our spare time, we enjoy hiking, trying all sorts of new foods, and watching football. I look forward to joining the community of Gastonia and hope to spend many years here taking care of your pets.
